Begbie View Elementary School staff challenged students to bike, ride, scooter, or roller blade to school during Bike to Work Week, which was May 29 – June 4.
As an incentive teachers offered them a trip through the halls on those same vehicles for each day that they got over 80% participation. Staff were astonished at the level of interest, many classes were well over 80%, which in the end equalled many laps through the halls of the school.
