Revelstoke to host a new constituency office

In his first post-election interview MLA Doug Clovechok says he’ll have two constituency offices — one in Kimberley and the other in Revelstoke.

The BC Liberal said he has not yet decided how many days a week Revelstoke’s new office will be open. Revelstoke has not had a constituency office since about 2009.

Four years after his first run at becoming MLA of Columbia River-Revelstoke riding Doug Clovechok won the riding with 6,620 ballots or 45% of the vote. Gerry Taft, his New Democratic Party rival, received 5,248 ballots or 36.02% of the popular vote, according to Elections BC’s final results, released on Wednesday, May 25.
