Unfortunately the Revelstoke RCMP has to report some sad news;
Deirdre, the female black, who was in a single motor vehicle accident while with her owner from Alberta, approximately 5 km East of Revelstoke, BC, on Wednesday, May 10, was found deceased at about 8 am Saturday.
A local resident out searching for Deirdre located her approximately 1 kilometre West of the accident scene. For days many people have searched for the seven-month-old puppy with out success. This news is bound to upset some of those kind-hearted people.
“On behalf of the family and the Revelstoke RCMP, we would like to thank all those people who helped search for Deirdre,” Cpl. Thomas Blakeney said in a statement Saturday. “Deirdre’s owner is still recovering in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
