Finding ways to save youth at risk

Respected American family-care expert Martin Brokenleg speaks to an audience of about 100 people about youth at risk at the Performing Arts Centre during the second day of his three-day workshop during Screen Smart. An internationally known Lakota Sioux he is also co-author of the book, Reclaiming Youth at Risk: our hope for the future, and co­developer of the Circle of Courage Model, a model of positive youth development based on the universal principle that to be emotionally healthy all youth need a sense of belonging, mastery, independence and generosity.
