Recycle BC – formerly Multi-Material BC – is distributing new hard-copy recycling guides to the City of Revelstoke.
The new guide, which is also available electronically here, contains pick-up schedules for May 2017 to April 2018, a list of accepted and non-accepted items, plus locations of depots where items not accepted at curbside or multi-family buildings can be dropped off. Residents can also get the latest information by downloading Recycle BC’s mobile app at Recycle BC.ca, Google Play or the App Store.
In partnership with the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Recycle BC has launched a contest where BC residents can share photos and videos that show how you recycle at home and in your community. Tag your posts using #RecycleBC on Twitter and Instagram, or enter on Facebook or at RecycleBC.ca.
Established three years ago, Recycle BC is a non-profit organization responsible for residential packaging and printed-paper recycling throughout the province. Recycle BC is funded by businesses that supply packaging and printed paper to BC residents.
