New art exhibitions open until April 28

The Visual Arts Centre celebrated the start of a new year of artistic expression With three very interesting exhibitions. The main gallery was full of new works by local artists created in line with the theme, Inspired By… The side galleries, meanwhile, were filled by attist Michelle Spragg’s cosmic vision, Galaxia: Seeking Connection,and photographer Claire Paradis’ take on natural beauty, My (Ut)opia. The Visual Arts Centre’s first new shows of 2017 opened last Friday with a good crowd in attendance.

The main gallery was full of new works by local artists created in line with the theme Inspired By… The side galleries, meanwhile, were filled by painter Michelle Spragg’s cosmic vision, Galaxia: Seeking Connection,and photographer Claire Paradis’ take on natural beauty, My (Ut)opia.

All three shows are 0pen to the public from noon until 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday until April 28.
