The open house on rural education that was to be held at RSS tonight — Friday, March 10 — has been postponed.
A brief statement from the Ministry of Education said a temporary closure of the TransCanada Highway has forced the postponement. Avalanche control is slated to begin at 4 pm and end at 6 pm.
The open house was scheduled to take place at Revelstoke Secondary school from 6 pm to 8 pm. It will be held at a later date.
