Council adopts a “6 and 4” tax rate for the 2017 budget

City Council voted in favour of adopting a “six and four” tax rate for residential and business properties during their deliberations on Tuesday afternoon, March 28.

Council invites comment about the City’s 2017 – 2021 Five-Year Plan fby members of the public. You can either come to City Hall to review the 2017 Annual Budget Public Consultation and Information package or review it on the website at http://revelstoke.ca/DocumentCenter/View/3496. Council is particularly interested in the opinions of the general public. You can send your public submission by e-mail to finance@revelstoke.ca with ‘2017 Budget’ in the subject line. You have until April 18 to comment on the budget. The budget must be passed by Council by May 15.
