Slerdders injured on Boulder Mountain

Two sledders were injured in separate incidents on Boulder Mountain on Friday, February 24.

A statement from Cpl. Thomas Blakney of the Revelstoke RCMP said that in one of the incidents a local 45-year-old man went off a cliff and fell approximately 10 meters while the other incident involved a 33-year-old man from Athabasca whose foot got caught in his snowmobile track.

“Search and Rescue along with EHS and the use of a helicopter were able to transport the two adult males to Queen Victoria Hospital… with non-life threatening injuries,” Blakney said.
