Rotarians leaped at the chance to help the QVH helipad project

The final tally is in for the Rotary Club’s Trivia Contest, held at the Community Centre on Saturday, January 28, to benefit the Health Foundation’s helicopter project.

Fifteen teams of 8 individuals competed and the top teams were the RCMP team and the Teachers’ team.

Steve Bender, a member of the Foundation’s helicopter fund public relations committee, said the Trivia Contest final raised a total $2,700.

“Thanks to the City for donating the use of the Centre and the many businesses and individuals who donated prizes,” he said..

“The helipad fund has now received over $356,000. on the way to its’ goal of $465,000.  The push continues.”
