A 33-year-old Revelstoke man has been charged with failing to keep right after a north-bound logging truck went off road in the 200 block of Townley Street on Friday morning, February 17.
“The logging truck went off-road right and rolled down the embankment, coming to a rest, partially obstructing the roadway below, known as Powerhouse Road,” RCMP Cpl. Thomas Blakney said in a statement.
“Fortunately the driver was able to walk away from crash, but was transported by EHS (Emergency Health Servces) to Queen Victoria Hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. Alcohol and or drugs were not a factor. Road conditions were favorable-wet with a temperature of 3 degrees Celsius.
