The District Health Foundation’s fundraising campaign for the Queen Victoria Hospital Helipad Project has reached the $360,000 point and organizers are hoping that local clubs and organizations can help them raise the final $105,000.
“Donations have slowed a bit in the post-Christmas period but we have a few fundraisers in the planning stages,” Steve Bender, a member of the campaign’s public relations committee, said in an e-mail to The Revelstoke Current on Monday, February 13.
“If… your club has an idea for a fundraiser for the helipad we would be glad to hear it. The push to $465,000 continues.”
