The District Health Foundation’s campaign to raise about $465,000 to build a federally approved helipad at Queen Victoria Hospital is humming along and now requires just $115,000 to meet its goal. With the community’s willingness to pitch in, campaign co-chairmen Steven Hui and Fred Beruschi are confident the helipad can be built this year.
I recently recorded a 17-minute video with them to review the campaign’s progress to date and look ahead to what still remains to be done. Please activate the YouTube player below to find out what they think and how Revelstokians can help complete this very important public project. A small donation can make a real difference.
