Don’t miss the fireworks show that Revelstoke Mountain Resort is staging on Christmas Eve at 6 pm.
This will be the second explosive pyrotechnics show this year. The resort’s last fireworks show was held on Halloween at Centennial Park and attracted hundreds of families. This one may well draw hundreds of locals up to the mountain as well — but don’t be late!
“The show will start promptly at 6 pm,” RMR Marketing Manager Nico Leenders said Thursday, December 22, adding that it will last five to seven exciting minutes.
You can watch the show from the Village Plaza and even make it a dinner date as both the Rockford and the Mackenzie Common Tavern will be open.
This will not be the only fireworks display on the mountain this winter; there will also be two shows on New Year’s Eve, Leenders said.
“There will be two – one at 8 pm for the kids and families and one at midnight,” he said. “It will be a very similar show.”
This could be the beginning of a wonderful winter tradition.
