The City of Revelstoke Public Works Department is advising all water users that with the current cold weather and expected cold temperatures through until next Monday that there is a chance that it could drive the frost deeper into the ground.
Therefore, it said in a statement, anyone who has experienced frozen water lines in the past should leave their water taps running to avoid expensive thawing.
If you have experienced frozen water lines before, leave your water taps running to avoid disruption in your service. If you are new to town and unsure please contact the Public Works Department at 837-2001.
