The City’s vacation rentals program is having a generally positive effect on the community, says Mayor Mark McKee.

The City’s 125-bed limit on vacation rentals is beginning to force people who have illegal vacation rental operations to decide what they want to do.

“They are having to decide whether they want to turn their property into long-term rental, which is adding to stock to the monthly rental situation in town which is I think is pretty critical,” he said in a video interview.
