It was eerily warm on Friday as customers shopped for gifts during the annual Moonlight Madness shopping event. Business proprietors all reported steady sales as “small waves”of shoppers crisscrossed the downtown core.
As expected, many restaurants also appeared to do well as shoppers started their annual dose of retail therapy with a favourite meal.
Here is a selection of photos from annual event that I hope you’ll enjoy:
Kevin Feng really enjoys cooking at his restaurant, Kevin’s Kitchen, as you can easily tell from this image. David F. The Indian-German restaurant was, like many eateries, very busy as hundreds of Revelstokians started their traditional Moonlight Madness evening with a meal downtown. David F. They were delicious, guys. David F. Rooney photoArleigh Garrett at Garnish shows off some of the new items she is selling this Christmas. Her beautiful new bags. These Grace line accessories are made of leather and “found, limited edition textiles.” Garnish also is stocking interesting lines of garments made from scarves as well as wooden wristwatches and Arleigh’s usual offerings of very smart and stylish fine jewellery.
