Parker Abbott Trio to perform at the Jazz Club on Friday

The Parker Abbott Trio will be performing at the Jazz Club this Friday, October 14. “This keyboard-centric group of Toronto musicians explore the intersections between two pianists and a drummer,” the Jazz Cl;ub said in a statement. “In 2011 the original duo of pianists Teri Parker and Simeon Abbott expanded into a trio with the addition of percussive powerhouse Mark Segger. Using a plethora of keyboard instruments and a pan-stylistic approach to composition and improvisation, the trio has created an utterly original, multi-faceted jazz group.” The Jazz Club is located in the Selkirk Room at the Regent Hotel.
