Mayor McKee behind bars

For a guy behind bars, Mayor Mark McKee looks pretty chipper, doesn't he? Fortunately he has Mark Price of Kamloops Crime Stoppers to keep him company during the Revelstoke Crime Stoppers' fundraiser on Saturday, September 10. Of course, maybe Dangerous Mark McKee was just hoping someone would give him a Coke to drink. Alas for him, he was limited to break and water as he phoned friends to come and bail him out. The fundraiser was quite successful. Crime Stoppers President Teresa LeRose said Saturday evening that McKee and fellow prisoners Councillors Gary Sulz, and Trevor English, and Mike Hooker, School District 19's affable superintendent managed to raise $506.05. The BBQ that was laid on for lunch raised an additional $337.14. All told the fundraiser managed to bring in a haul of $853.19. Not a bad haul! David F. Rooney ohoto
