The Revelstoke Jazz club starts off its new season with a big line-up.
Friday, September 9, brings the Southern Interior All Star Jazz Jam. Musicians from several local jazz bands, plus Salmon Arm and Nelson will share the stage. Members from the Bob Rogers Combo, Relative Jazz, The Groovineers, Carl Laurence Group from Nelson and Gypsy Jazz from Salmon Arm are combining their efforts to raise funds for sound system equipment.
“It’ll be a jazz extravaganza like you’ve never seen,” Wendy Lucas, Jazz Society said in a statement.
The doors open at the Regent Hotel’s Selkirk Room at 7 pm. Admission is by donation.
