Premier Christy Clark will visit Revelstoke on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 13.

Press Secretary Stephen Smart said the premier will drop by Downie Mill and tour downtown during her short visit.
The premier’s last visit to Revelstoke was during the last provincial election campaign and there will be a definitely political aspect to this visit as she will be met here by BC Liberal Party candidate Doug Clovechok. Clovechok ran for the party in the last campaign and, after his loss to incumbent MLA Norm Macdonald, a New Democrat, he remained very active in the provincial party executive. He will run again in next year’s provincial election.
