1940 – 2016
Carolee Ann Austin passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the age of 75 years. There will be a Memorial Reception in the Revelstoke United Church Hall (downstairs) on Monday, July 18, at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Revelstoke Hospital Auxiliary, Box 1781, Revelstoke, B.C. V0E 2S0, in memory of Carolee.
Carolee was born on November 27, 1940, in St. Boniface, Manitoba, and had been a resident of Revelstoke for over 12 years. She loved to travel and some of her adventures included a photo safari in Africa and white water rafting in Costa Rica. Carolee was a member of the Revelstoke Hospital Auxiliary. She was a very independent woman and enjoyed golfing, fishing and camping.
Carolee was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Angline Pike and brother-in-law Ricky. She is survived by five siblings: Susan (Jim) Hawthorne of Calgary, Rick (Marion) Pike of Calgary, Linda (Bruce) Vogel of Phoenix, Arizona, Arlene Floyd of Calgary and Daryl (Jeff) Trotter of Revelstoke; cousins Roseline Bjarnsen of White Rock and Mimi McCormick of Seattle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
