Great job fillin’ up the Mounties’ cruiser

Corporal Mike Esson and Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky donned their red serge dress uniforms for the RCMP detachment’s Fill The Cruiser Food Drive at Save On Foods on the afternoon of Thursday, July 21. All told, the Mounties collected 1,085 lbs of food and $410 in financial contributions. In fact, they not only filled the cruiser, but the inflatable boat it was towing. “The supermarket prepared 75 food bags valued at $5 each and they all sold,” Patti Larson told The Current. “It was a successful day with a wide variety of food items donated.” David F.
