Saturday’s Vintage Car Club show ‘n’ shine featured more than 100 classic cars and trucks from all over the province. Held under a very summery sky, people of all ages thronged the downtown core to enjoy the show of beautifully gleaming vehicles.

How do you like this ruby-red five-window Ford Coupe from 1937? Judging by its gleam it is the pride and joy of owners John and Helena Kernaghan of Enderby. David F. Rooney photo

There was even a serious element to the show! Revelstoke Mounties dared passersby to take a "roadside sobriety test." Their willing victims had to don goggles that mimicked the blurry vision they'd experience after imbibing too much alcohol and then walk a straight line David F. Rooney photo.
