1926 – 2016
Raymond Jezersek, aged 89 years, died May 31, 2016. Raymond was resident of Revelstoke for 55 years. He was born in Berbonica, Slovenia August 18, 1926 and emmigrated with his wife and four children to Canada in 1961, sponsored by the Parish of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Revelstoke.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Judith, and his eight children: Sonja, Raymond (Heather), Juliana (Chris), Jillian, Edward, Thomas (Susan), Jacqui (Mike) and Andrea (Gord). He was ‘Opa’ to eleven grandchildren: Michael, Robert, Connor, Bailey, Courtney, Bria, Nicholas, Eric, Marshall, Harris and Khahari.
The family would like to thank the home-care staff and the staff of Queen Victoria Hospital, Dr. Molder and Dr. Hunt, for their wonderful care of Raymond.
