Now what would you do with a sawed-off shotgun?

Mounties raided a home on Humbert Street last week where they seized stolen property and three firearms, including a loaded sawed-off 12-gauge, pump-action shotgun.

A statement from Cpl. Thomas Blakney said the June 10 search yielded stolen property items that included power tools, mountain bikes, drug paraphernalia, ammunition and three firearms, one of which was a loaded sawed-off 12-gauge, pump-action shotgun.

The Revelstoke RCMP arrested two local adult men who were inside the residence. “Subsequently, one of the males was released without charges, but the 24-year-old man who had been residing at that location was released on a Promise to Appear with several conditions,” the statement said. “He is expected to appear in Revelstoke Provincial Court to answer to several firearms charges and charges for Possession of Stolen Property.”
