Mounties seek YOUR assistance identifying a thief

Revelstoke RCMP and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of breaking into a vending machine at the Days Inn and stealing the money inside.

A statement posted on the Crime Stoppers website said video surveillance photos taken on Monday June 20, at 1:50 am show an adult Caucasian male to break into the vending machine at the hotel located at, 301 Wright Street.

The man was wearing a black jacket, baseball cap, blue jeans and running shoes. He has a moustache with goatee and prescription glasses.

This is not his first time doing this at the same location

On Thursday January 7, the same guy was observed on video surveillance breaking into the vending machine and stealing cash.

He is believed to be associated to a silver mini-van, possibly a Chevrolet Venture.
