The Vazzy concert that was to be held at the Community Centre this evening — Friday, June 10 — has been cancelled.
“Unfortunately, we have had to cancel Friday evening’s concert as the singer has lost her voice,” Garry Pendergast, the Revelstoke Art Council’s executive director told The Current.
Suzanne Leclerc’s speechlessness also means that Vazzy’s appearance at the Farmer’s Market has also been called off, he said.
Full refunds will be offered to everyone who had already purchased tickets to the Friday evening event.
This is only the second time in eight years that a performance organized by the Arts Council has been called off. The first cancellation was a visit by the Kelowna Ballet that was cancelled because of a road closure.
