In Pictures: A visit by Lieut.-Gov. Judith Guichon

It’s not every day the Queen’s representative in our province pays a visit to our town and Lieut.-Gov Judith Guichon’s trip here sent a shiver of excitement through segments of the community.

After a visit to City Hall and Begbue View Elementary School, Ms. Guichon enjoyed tea with seniors at Moberley Manor as well as a tour of the Revelstoke Railway Museum and visit with members of Branch 46 of the Royal Canadian Legion, one of whom was aged Second World War veteran John Augustyn.
