The City of Revelstoke celebrated Earth Day, April 22, in its own inimitable style by apparently cutting down a tree. The City has no problem cutting down elements of our urban forest, sometimes without even letting people know when it does so. But this particular decision to drop a tree seems a tad ill considered given that it happened on Earth Day, which is supposed to be a celebration of the environment. Krista Cadieux photo
