With this gorgeous early spring and summer weather, the flowers, shrubs and vegetables at the Visual Arts Centre are begging for attention, which has prompted the art gallery’s home to ask for volunteers willing to help out. “If you have a little extra time to devote to Mother Nature please come see us at the gallery and help make our gardens beautiful this year,” gallery staffer Victoria Strange said in an appeal sent out via e-mail on Tuesday, April 19. “Our plants need you!” Please call the gallery at 250-814-0261 or drop by Tuesday through Saturday from noon until 4 pm if you’d like to help out.
