As part of its promotion for Timber Days 2016, The Revelstoke Current is creating a few very short videos about some of activities you’ll see at this unique event, which takes place this year on Saturday, May 21, starting at 10 am.

The second video in this series will be a cross-cut demonstration. It will be posted when it has been completed.

In the meantime, here’s a schedule for the 2016 Timber Days event. Please note that there will be a special barbeque the evening before — Friday, May 20 — at the BC Interior Forestry Museum & Discovery Centre:

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday, May 20, 2016 – at the Revelstoke Forestry Museum (Highway 23N)

  • horse logging demonstration;
  • kids’ events;
  • logger sport demos and practice session; and the
  • antique chainsaw demonstration.
