“I have been admiring the beautiful flower beds up town and have heard a lot a nice comments of what a good job the gardeners have done,” a local reader said in an e-mail to The Current. “Could you please make mention in the paper of how we are enjoying their labour.” That is such a valid comment. Even now, with the spring weather rapidly becoming rather summery there are plenty of bursts of colour to delight the eye — like these magnolia blooms.
