In Video: The Brown Bag History of mining in the Illecillewaet River district

Revelstoke Museum & Archives Curator Cathy English gave one of her always-entertaining Brown Bag lunch-hour history talks last Wednesday, March 9. This talk's subject was mining near the Illecillewaet River between here and Glacier National Park. There were a number of mines at Albert Canyon and other locations, such as this lead-silver mine at Lanark, as you can see in this video of her 42-minute presentation at the museum.
