Exploring Arabic culture

About 30 people attended the Revelstoke for Refugees' Saturday, March 12, seminar on Arabic language and culture led by Sandra Baumgartner. Participants watched videos and learned about differences and similarities between Arabic and Western culture and language. The seminar was intended to help prepare Revelstoke for its first Syrian refugee family, expected sometime in the next six months. The family's name and some back ground information was made public this week. Please click on the image to see larger version. David. Rooney photo
