Arrow Heights Elementary students and staff all wore pink to school last Wednesday, February 24.

Anti-Bullying Day started when a Grade Nine boy at Central Kings Rural High School in the small Nova Scotia community of Cambridge was bullied at school for wearing a pink shirt. Two Grade 12 boys, David Shepherd and Travis Price heard of him being bullied and wanted it to stop so they went to a nearby discount store and bought 50 pink shirts to hand out and wear to school the next day. The student who had been bullied was very grateful to David and Travis and the principal was flushed with pride! Now people around the world appreciate this day and wear pink.
