Saturday, February 6, marks the sixth year of the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre’s major annual fundraising event: Anything Goes!

This is a highly anticipated event with a talented group of just over 30 local artists creating works to be sold by silent auction. Tickets for this event are in demand.

As with previous years, artists will be producing their works using 12 x 12 inch canvases or wood boards. Aside from the size of the art… anything goes!

“New this year, is a selected jury of art professionals awarding a Best in Show title to one of the artworks,” says a statement from The Centre. “This special piece will be auctioned off live unseen during the evening. It will be an exciting show, not to be missed!”

Anything Goes Six opens its doors with silent bidding commencing at 7 pm on February 6. The night is  guaranteed to be filled with amazing art, delicious nibblies, and perhaps even some bidding wars. Proceeds for the fundraiser will be dedicated to the commissioning of a unique bench to be installed in the gallery gardens, created by one of Revelstoke’s finest sculptors.

Tickets for this event can be purchased for $12 from Art First! or by contacting the Visual Arts Centre 250-814-0261.
