The search is on for a missing Alberta snowmobiler

Mounties and Search and Rescue personnel are searching for a young man from Drayton Valley, Alberta, who has been missing since Saturday, December 5.
“Revelstoke RCMP were alerted to a vehicle in the Boulder Mountain Parking Lot… it was determined that the red 2006 Dodge Ram pickup was registered to 32-year-old Travis Allen Brown ,” Cpl. Thomas Blakney said in a statement released on Monday, December 7.
A family member was contacted and the Mounties learned that Brown had intended to go snowmobiling alone on Saturday at 10:30 am. Repeated attempts to contact him went directly to voicemail.
As of 8:30 am on Monday he was officially classed as a missing person.
Brown is a Caucasian male. He is 185 centimetres tall (6 feet 1.5 inches) tall, weighs 77 kilograms and has brown eyes and blonde hair. He is believed to be wearing a bright green Helly Hansen snowmobile suit with a green leaf-pattern on the matching jacket and pants. He was also wearing a new motocross-style helmet with green camouflage goggles. He was operating a red and white 2014 Polaris RMK snowmobile.
