Blowin' in the Wind

Sculptor John McKinnon's beautiful bronze sculpture, Blowiun' in there Wind, was completed in the late autumn and is now in storage pending the arrival of spring and its installation at the Visual Arts Centre's garden just above Victoria Road. The sculpture show leaves swirling in the wind — a sight everyone has seen more than once. This piece of art was commissioned by the City, through the Public Art Committee, and was created without a dime of municipal taxpayers' money. Funding for this project came from the province's Resort Development Initiative. Jackie Pendergast
