Glen Cherlet was the lucky winner of a season’s pass to Revelstoke Mountain Resort in a contest sponsored by Cheers liquor store this autumn. He stopped by the shop on Victoria Road on Wednesday afternoon to pick up the pass and pose for a photo with Cheers Manager Tina Witt (left) and Assistant Manager Ashley Bafaro. Glen’s a lucky guy. A few months ago he won a new barbecue. Now if only he’s got the wining ticket for this Friday’s $55 million Lotto Max. The odds are only 1 in 28,633,528. Of course, maybe he has the winning Lotto 649 ticket. The price for that is $15.9 million and the odds are a little better at 1 in 13,983,816. David F. Rooney photo
