In Columbia Park Elementary School, there’s a Wall of Remembrance that anyone can come see.
On this wall there are stories of relatives of Columbia Park kids that fought in past wars. Each year we ask for any new students who have a story to share it on the Wall of Remembrance. If you come in to see the Wall, there are lots of photos and stories of the people who fought, and also which students they’re related to.
Our school will hold a Remembrance Day ceremony next Tuesday, November 10, at 10:40 am. We’re also making lots of posters, poems and essays for the Legion’s annual contest.
