BVE kids show off their helping hands

 Twelve students from the Me-To-We team at Begbie View Elementary visited the Food Bank in November to help assemble and distribute food hampers for 500 or so fellow Revelstokians who need a helping hand these days.
The students found the experience to be “very educational…that we know more about Revelstoke’s food bank organization.”
It was also a very moving experience and has prompted the students to continue volunteering to help with the food hampers.
The team has also been busy rallying the rest of the student body at BVE to donate brand-new pyjamas, socks, and underwear that will go into the Christmas hampers as part of the Christmas Pyjama Drive.
The spirit of giving is alive and well as the holiday season approaches. Here are some photos of these young people in action:
