The Red Apple store has been staging a food drive during October to assist the Community Connections Food Bank. You can drop off your donation any time during normal store hours or buy something at the store and then leave it there. The Red Apple is also sponsoring a Toy Drive in November with all donated toys (they should be new) going to children whose families depend on the Food Bank at Christmas.
