To ensure all residents have transportation to the polling station, the City of Revelstoke is offering free transit service on Monday, October 19, to take voters to vote at the Community Centre.
Residents with mobility challenges can access a free Handydart service to take them to the polling station. To use this service, please call 250-837-3000 to book a pick-up no later than Friday October 16.
“Voting is an important responsibility,” Mayor Mark McKee said in a statement released on Wednesday, October 14. “We would like to make sure all our residents have the opportunity to cast their ballots”.
