Arrow Heights Students had the time of their lives at We Day 2015
By Emily MacLeod and Amelie Delesalle AHE Student Reporter-photographers Eight Arrow Heights Elementary students are excited for We Day. They left on Tuesday October 20, for Vancouver. We Day is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. We recently interviewed two students about their thoughts on going to We Day. Our first student, Cassidy Legeboko, thinks that We Day will be inspiring to help out around the house and school. Cassidy is looking forward to seeing Colbie Caillat perform at We Day because she likes how Colbie tries to tell people that body image is nothing to stress about. The second student that we interviewed was Josh Larsen. Josh thinks that We Day will be inspiring because there will be a lot of kids and speakers there. The speakers have to earn their ticket to be able to come to We Day. They have to help other people in their community, countries and around the world. Josh was excited to see Chris Hadfield because he has always loved space and he liked his book called An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth. Here are some photos from this inspiring event:
