The Revelstoke federal election debate is a go!

There will be an election debate in Revelstoke involving the candidates in the October 19 federal election.
The debate, organized by The Review, The Current and The Mountaineer with EZ Rock and Stoke FM, will be held at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre on Monday, September 21, starting at 7 pm. Former mayor Geoff Battersby will moderate the event.
Candidates will have the opportunity to make opening and closing statements and answer questions provided in advance to the media sponsors. While all candidates will know what the general areas of discussion will be, none of them will see the questions in advance. There will be no questions from the floor

The candidates are Conservative David Wilks, New Democrat Wayne Stetski, Liberal Don Johnston and the Green party’s Bill Green. It is not yet known if the Libertarian Party’s Christina Yahn will participate.
