The would-be stars in the Revelstoke Minor Hockey Association’s Novice team showed what they’re capable of during a practice session at The Forum last Saturday. Current photographer Jason Portras was there to capture some of the action with his camera… This Saturday, September 12t, saw the beginning of a new season for the Pre-Novice and Novice Leagues of the Revelstoke Minor Hockey Association (RMHA). The Novice League has a total of 14 players to begin the year and 4 coaches, lead by Head Coach Shawn Bracken. Jason Portras photo Many parents were in attendance to the delight of their children. It’s a wonderful thing to see a new generation excited to partake in this traditional Canadian sport. Jason Portras photo The goalies are already looking fresh with cat-like reflexes, and some players can really launch the puck. It’s set to be a great season for the RMHA.
