Incomparable beauty above!

This gorgeous photo looking towards Revestoke from an alpine meadow on Mount Begbie was taken on the evening of August 18. Sylvain Hebert said he was on a typical trip to climb the standard North Ridge route that many locals have done. He and some friends “flew up instead of hiking up to have more time to lounge around after the ascent of the peak (crampons were required to negotiate the glacier section of the climb),” he told The Current, adding that they “camped overnight and hiked down the next day… and there were no bugs!” Sylvain Hebert photo
