Here is the video recording of Revelstoke City Council’s regular meeting held on Tuesday, August 25.
During a pre-meeting public hearing Council heard from opponents and proponents of the urban chicken bylaw it is currently considering.
One of the main features of the regular meeting was a presentation by anti-gravel pit activist Stuart Andrews.
Councillors also decided to change the date of the public hearing on zoning changes that would permit another supermarket and pharmacy, as well as new uses — public assembly and entertainment — at the site of the proposed new shopping centre along the Trans-Canada Highway. It had originally said it would hold hearing on September 8. The new date for the hearing is September 29.
