Nakusp’s Studio Connexion Gallery is showcasing the stainless steel creations of Tim Andrew in its fourth exhibition of the season entitled Moving Mountains which runs until August 9.
“This is a unique exhibition with a very distinct art form showing just in time for the Nakusp Medieval Days and the Columbia Basin Culture Tour,” gallery owner Anne Belliveau. “Tim is a talented metalworker who branched out into art. He went from industrial to visual arts form using stainless steel as a canvas. Engraved mechanically, his pieces will leave you with a firm impression.”
You are invited to meet Tim at the Moving Mountains show’s opening reception on Friday, July 24, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Refreshments will be served.
Studio Connexion Gallery is located in the heart of Nakusp at 203 Fifth Avenue. Regular hours are 11 am to 4 pm, Tuesday to Saturday. You can also arrange private viewing by calling Anne at 250-265-3586. You can also follow events at the gallery through its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/studioconnexion
